About Me

The outdoors has always been a major part of my life. Growing up in small town North Dakota, I spent countless hours exploring nature whether that consisted of hunting, hiking, or just sitting and enjoying the scenery. There would always be a moment or a scene that would catch my eye and make me think, what if there was an elk bugling here, or what if there was a cowboy crossing this creek. That's when I take that idea back to the easel, pull out my paints and pencils, and try to recreate that scene from nature. My goal as an artist is to share my love of the outdoors with those who see my work.
